# Start with your first AI

> Use a connected AI to make the first useful pass from the work brief in Mem.

</div>

You have a source of truth for the task. Now use the first connected AI to make one useful pass from that context.

## What you'll accomplish

<Check>
  You'll get a first draft or decision from one AI tool that follows the work brief in Mem.
</Check>

## Watch how it's done

<Note>
  The demo uses OpenCode as an example. For how other tools connect, see the Nowledge Mem Docs: [connectors](https://mem.nowledge.co/docs/integrations).

## Your turn

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open a fresh session in your first connected AI">
    Use the AI tool you want to start with. Do not paste the full work brief into the session.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Tell it what to find and what to make">
    Give the task a distinctive name and ask the tool to check its context before working:

    ```text theme={null}
    Read the Atlas landing page work brief in Nowledge Mem. First list the goal and constraints you found. Then draft a six-section page outline that follows them.
    ```
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check the first pass against the brief">
    Confirm that the outline addresses the operations-lead audience, uses plain language, and includes one clear call to action.

    <Tip>
      If the tool misses a constraint, point it back to the brief. Correct the source of truth in Mem if the brief itself is incomplete.
    </Tip>
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What you should see

<Check>
  The AI states the relevant context before drafting, then produces a first pass that follows the saved constraints.
</Check>

## Why this matters

The first tool is not valuable because it remembers a private chat. It is valuable because it can start from context you chose to preserve. That is what makes the work movable.

## Go deeper

Read the [connectors](https://mem.nowledge.co/docs/integrations) guide to check the connection path for your AI tool.
