This course uses a fictional task: preparing content for a new product landing page. You can replace it with a task you genuinely need to finish.

Before you start

  • Complete the Essentials course.
  • Keep Mem running.
  • Connect two AI tools, such as Codex and Claude Code, to the same Mem.
  • Choose a task that can safely be split into two small steps.
Connected tools can use the same knowledge in Mem, but they do not share one chat. The handoff checkpoint tells the next tool how far the work got and what to do next.

What you don’t need

You do not need a specific AI tool or automatic transcript capture. The work brief and handoff checkpoint are enough for this course. A saved full session can help later, but it does not replace the checkpoint.
