Move one real task between AI tools without rebuilding its context.
5 lessons ~25 min Intermediate
Use the knowledge you already saved to move one real task from one AI tool to another. You will create a work brief, leave a clear checkpoint, and continue without retelling the whole story.
Connect two AI tools you use, such as Codex and Claude Code. They must connect to the same Mem.
Choose a task that can safely be split into two small steps.
Connected tools can use the same knowledge in Mem, but they do not become one shared chat. The handoff checkpoint is what tells the next tool where the work stopped and what to do next.
You do not need a specific AI tool or automatic transcript capture. A durable work brief and a concise handoff checkpoint are enough for the core path. If your connector saves full sessions, that history can be useful later, but it does not replace the checkpoint.
