Before you start

Save the work brief and lesson 3 checkpoint in Mem. Connect both AI tools to the same Mem. If you use Spaces, confirm both tools can search the relevant Space. Make sure the second tool can also access any longer draft named in the checkpoint.

Open a new session in the second AI tool

Choose a different tool connected to the same Mem. Do not copy the brief or the first conversation into it.

Ask it to retrieve the task state

Check the summary against the saved context

Compare the summary with the brief and checkpoint. With the lesson 3 example, it should identify the operations-lead audience, the single “Try Atlas” call to action, and the missing verified evidence for section four.
If the tool cannot find the checkpoint, check that you can find it in Mem first. Then check the tool’s connection and memory scope. Context → Preview shows the configured scope; the connector guide covers setup. Ask for another search using a distinctive phrase from the checkpoint.

Draft and check the next part

Once the context is correct, send:
Check the audience, wording, and evidence markers against the brief. Keep the draft accessible for the next session.

The second AI recovers the brief and checkpoint, then produces the requested copy with the agreed call to action and unresolved evidence clearly marked.

Why this matters

Checking retrieved context before drafting catches missing decisions. The same brief and checkpoint can guide another tool without the first tool’s chat history.
